The Santa Cruz de Almería Bugles and Drums Band will take their sounds to the province of Malaga

The Santa Cruz de Almería Band of Bugles and Drums will take their sounds, next Easter in 2021, to the province of Malaga, specifically to the municipality of Vélez-Málaga on the evening of Holy Thursday.

The Almería formation will interpret its processional marches after the image of Jesús Nazareno 'El Pobre' of the Archconfraternity of Santa Vera Cruz, of Our Father Jesús Nazareno 'El Pobre' and María Santísima de la Esperanza.

This agreement was reached after a few days before, the gang from the capital announced that next year they would not accompany the image of Our Father Jesus of Sorrows in the Abandonment of his Disciples, the Christian head of the Brotherhood of Rosario del Mar de the capital of Almería.

A veleño Maundy Thursday with Almeria flavor

The Huécija-Alicún Music Band, from the province of Almería, also announced a few days ago that it has reached an agreement to renew its contract with this arch-brotherhood of Vélez-Málaga. The group, after not being able to put their musical notes to the throne of Maria Santísima de la Esperanza this year, are already looking forward to this commitment to leave their magnificent notes in this town on the Costa del Sol.

Thus, it will be a Holy Thursday, if the crisis of the Covid-19 does not prevent it, important in this emblematic town of Malaga with two Almerian formations accompanying one of the brotherhoods of this sister province.
