The Government suppresses the processions in phase 1 of the de-escalation

The Official State Gazette (BOE) published this Saturday the order that includes the measures related to the application of phase 1 of the "Plan for the transition to a new normality", as well as the territories in which they will be applied.

In the same, specifically in Article 9 of Chapter II on "making social measures more flexible", it is prohibited to "use the exterior of buildings or public roads for the celebration of acts of worship", for which reason the processions, at least, during phase 1 of de-escalation.

If the province of Cádiz did not pass phase 1 or the veto continued in phase 2, the Sacramental Brotherhood of Santiago would be deprived of carrying out its Eucharistic procession on the morning of Trinidad Sunday through the streets of the Santiago parishioners. The same would happen with the Corpus Christi procession and with that of Minerva if, if necessary, the disqualification continued in phase 3.
